وی ادامه داد: تماس مستقیم با دام و ترشحات دامی آلوده، گزش نوعی كنه موسوم به 'هیالوما'، تماس با خون و ترشحات انسان بیمار و مصرف گوشت دام آلوده -كه خارج از سیستم های مجاز ذبح می شوند- از جمله راه های انتقال این بیماری به شمار می رود.

رییس مركز مدیریت بیماری های واگیر وزارت بهداشت، خاطرنشان كرد افرادی كه بطور مستقیم با دام در ارتباط هستند و یا پرسنل درمانی كه با بیمار آلوده در تماس هستند بیشتر در معرض ابتلا به این بیماری قرار دارند.

گویا گفت: بروز علایم شبیه سرماخوردگی و استخوان درد در مراحل اولیه و تب همراه با خونریزی در مراحل بعدی از نشانه های این بیماری است و كادر درمانی و افرادی كه با این دسته از بیماران مواجه می شوند باید سریعا مراتب را به مراكز بهداشتی درمانی اطلاع دهند.

وی افزود: فصل بهار زمان انتقال این بیماری و زاد و ولد كنه هیالوما است و در این فصل باید اقدامات پیشگیرانه و ایمنی به ویژه در افراد مرتبط با دام صورت گیرد.

گویا ادامه داد: پیشگیری از بیماری های قابل انتقال از دام به انسان فعالیتی فرابخشی است و این امر با تلاش سازمان های دامپزشكی و دیگر ارگان های ذیربط با اجرای برنامه هایی مانند واكسیناسیون، سم پاشی و آموزش افراد مرتبط صورت می گیرد.
